Giétzcovers!

Reinterpreted covers, from my comic Giètz! Giètz is a comics about how jazz music came to Italy in the early 50s. I made this comics 4 years ago, but it was recently reprinted. So I decided to create a series of variations on the original cover, imagining it being a different story, of a different [...]

Shruthi-1 4-Pole Mission

The Shruthi-1 is a small monophonic synthesizer by Mutable Instruments that comes as a DIY kit. I was asked to contribute some illustrative work to the latest version of this synth called 4-Pole Mission. I created a postcard with a fake-movie poster look and some graphics for the pcb and the case of the instrument.

Space Schuetzen

In 2010 I was asked to create a short story for the yearly Tyrolean literature anthology Filadressa (Edition Raetia). The theme of the issue was “tradition and modernity”. I came up with 6 pages about a dystopian future where the region of South Tyrol is a multinational corporation conquering planets to transform them into alpine-themed [...]

Rumpelfilter – It’s the End EP

While I spend most of my time being an illustrator (and art director), I like to play and compose music in my leisure time (under various monikers), just because it is something that involves one of the senses, the auditory one, that normally gets left out. In 2011 I released my first album as Rumpelfilter [...]

It’s showtime, and everybody acts in sync, their minds linked together by invisible bonds, as if they were one giant organism. The idea was more to represent the (retro) mood and the [...]

Libro Piccolo di Bugie

Libro Piccolo di Bugie by Gabriele Ferrero was released in 2008 and was a collection of short, poetry oriented comics, written by Ferrero himself and illustrated by several artists from the independent scene (such as: Aleksandar Zograf, Gianluca Costantini and Claudio Parentela). Besides illustrating one of the stories contained in this book, I also created this cover illustration for it.
